Bridgend-based Celtic Electrical launches home automation company
by Nicholas Fearn , September 1
Directors at Bridgend-based Celtic Electrical have launched a new home automation business.
Leaf will operate from new offices at Miskin Manor Business Centre and provide a range of home automation services to commercial, industrial and residential clients right across the UK.
Lee Powell, the managing director of Celtic Electrical and Leaf, along with Leaf business development manager Darren Henson, will head up the business.
Powell said: “We are excited to launch LEAF and to welcome Darren Henson on board. This is the future of home and office control and is available at reasonable costs. There are very few companies in Wales offering this level of service and quality of product.
“Home automation controls heating, security systems, multimedia systems and lighting automatically or remotely via your smartphone or tablet, meaning you have complete control over your home or office even when you are not there.”
Henson added: “To join such an intriguing and cutting-edge business at its early stages is too good an opportunity to turn down. I’ve already learnt a great deal, and due to the technology being so new, there are developments almost on a weekly basis – making this an opportunity to change how people power their properties and how it dictates modern life.”
