Caerphilly IT firm moves to new office to keep up with growth
Technology services firm Team Metalogic has moved to a larger office in Caerphilly as it continues to grow and take on more clients.
The tech company, which recently celebrated its 15th year in business, has moved to new premises following a year of impressive growth. At 2,500 square feet, it’s double in size compared to the previous building.
Mike Parfitt, managing director of the firm, explained that the new office will allow it to encourage “the next phase of growth”. He said it’s grown at a “consistent pace” over the past few months.
According to Parfitt, 2018 has so far been a “landmark year” for the company. In the past three years alone, it’s achieved a 39 per cent increase in turnover and a 22 per cent incease in net profit.
“It is great to hit record turnover and profit but the actual reward is seeing the business grow in terms of our size, the quality of our people and the fantastic relationships we have with our loyal clients,” explained Parfitt.
At the new office, Team Metalogic will be able to cater for more employees and clients. “Team Metalogic is not just a brand, it is a culture each of us embraces and works from,” he said.
“The new office gives us fresh impetus to consult our people on what they want their place of work to look like as well as what facilities we have to support them be the best they can be.
“We purposely chose an office that is double the size, not just for our growth ambitions, but to give us the space to create an environment that works for us, not for us to simply work in.
In the coming years, Parfit wants to triple the size of his business and expand across Europe. He said the larger office gives his employees the facilities to grow the firm.
He added: “We have gone through a period of consultation with the team on what they want to get from a working environment; be it shower facilities, research and development areas, breakout rooms to engineer those creative solutions or simply a space to achieve the best results possible.
“We’ve communicated our five-year plan, penned Team to Twenty-Two, and completely opened the doors of transparency. The plan, which outlines how I see the business progressing from now until 2022, covers items such as staff roles and responsibilities, employee benefits, supply chain and quality assurance.”
