Happus is offering up free tech support to UK SMEs
by Nicholas Fearn , January 26
Caerphilly-based tech firm Happus and not-for-profit campaign Do It Digital have teamed up together to offer free tech support to SMES across the UK.
This comes as the firm was recently named as one of Small Business Saturday’s 100 top businesses an event held in the Treasury with chancellor George Osbourne in attendance.
Do it Digital is a campaign launched by Small Business Saturday to promote digital engagement and help businesses get the most out of technology.
Happus, which sells affordable IT hardware, will be able to help businesses in a support and advisory capacity. It’ll be able to provide them with support such as guidance on hardware issues, the choice of internet to go for and where to get the skills needed to make the most of being online.
David Williams, managing director of Happus, said “As one of the Smallbiz 100 for 2015 we were inspired to continue the ethos of collaboration and support, and it’s for that reason we are working with Do it Digital; to give small businesses free technical support and advice.
“Running a small business is challenging enough without the headache of poor equipment or slow broadband. Business owners need a no-fuss answer to troubleshoot problems, and it’s with that in mind we set up the free technical support help-line.
“If any business could use some technical help or advice, we would encourage them to give us a call or drop us an e-mail. Fast internet access is a right, not a privilege, and that’s why we will help anyone who gets in contact with us.”
The free technical support help-line can be reached at , or you can e-mail or visit the firm’s website www.happus.eu. It’ll be running for 100 days.
