Cardiff digital agency celebrates nomination victory
Station Rd Marketing, a digital and technology agency based in Cardiff, is celebrating after receiving two award nominations this week.
The marketing firm, which specialises in sectors such as tech and lifestyle, has been shortlisted for the Entrepreneur Wales Awards creative gong.
It’s also been recognised at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Wales Awards in the Agency of the Year category. Contenders include Equinox PR and Liberty Marketing.
The award ceremonies for both will be held in Cardiff next month. The EMA winners are to be announced at the Principality Stadium on November 9, while CIM Wales winners will be crowned on November 23.
Station Rd launched in late 2014 and was previously based at Caerphilly start-up hub Welsh ICE. After signing a plethora of clients – including tech start-up Codez Academy – it moved to an office in Cardiff.
Lyanna Tsakiris, co-founder and managing partner of Station Rd, said she’s thrilled at how far her business has come over the years and is looking forward to the award ceremonies.
“We are extremely proud of our team at Station Rd and we’re thrilled to have been nominated at two awards ceremonies in Cardiff this year. Marketing and PR is our passion and to be recognised for the work we do is phenomenal,” she said.
“We have had a really positive start in establishing the business and we hope that continues as we’re edging towards 2017. We’re up against some tough competition and we wish all nominees the best of luck.”
Jay Stallard, Station Rd. co-founder, said: “We have grown significantly since we established the business towards the end of 2014, taking on new clients and recruiting talented members of staff.
“For us, it’s fantastic to be recognised for the work that we are doing in Wales and I believe that the awards are a testament to how far we have come as an agency.”
