Cwmbran-based software development firm raises £100K investment

A Cwmbran-based software development firm has redeveloped its line-up of cloud business products after raising £100k in investment.

Hudman Solutions, which was formed in 2006, specialises in providing small and medium-sized businesses with innovative software solutions.

It’s received £50,000 from the Welsh Government’s Digital Development Fund and a further £50,000 from entrepreneur David James, who’s joined the company full-time as its MD.

As a result of the investment, the company has been able to launch two new cloud products. The first is Central ERP, which offers SMES cloud accounting and reporting. It also sports a production, supply chain and materials planning system.

The second is Central Accounting, an accounts and financial management system. It includes payroll and inventory control as a standard and is being targeted at businesses with multiple departments.

David James, managing director of Hudman Solutions, said: “The investment has allowed us to redevelop and launch our cloud business software products for 2016 onwards.

“With the addition of a number of new features – live data capture, multi-currency accounting, bank reconciliation as well as improvements on some existing features – material requirements planning (MRP), scheduling and CRM, we now feel as though we have a unique and fully integrated cloud business solution which offers SMEs superb value for money.

“We are confident that our solutions are unmatched in the current marketplace and we are keen to change the way that business software works in the UK.”
