Digital health service Nudjed raises £100K in seed funding
Digital health advice service Nudjed has closed an additional £100,000 seed round to further accelerate its growth and customer success.
The investment was led by Catalyst Growth Partners and included participation from serial biotech entrepreneur Professor Chris McGuigan and existing investors Finance Wales and Smart Anchor Ventures.
To date, the start-up has raised a total of £275,000, excluding early grant provision support from the Welsh Government’s Digital Development Fund.
It was recently named in this year’s Tech Nation report as a notable tech start-up and was also nominated as one of the Digital 2015 ‘Digital Dozen’ top companies to watch in Wales.
The service is aimed at busy professionals and supports them to set long-term goals they can reach in small, healthy steps. This is done through the official Nudjed website.
Warren Fauvel, founder and CEO of Nudjed, said: “We’re delighted to have secured this new funding from a number of prominent investors all of who add huge value to our company.
“The new funds will enable us to expand our science and product teams and will help us consolidate our Intellectual Property.
“We’ve already hired a new business development manager to convert our growing sales pipeline, a customer delivery manager to build customer success and a marketing manager to build market brand awareness.”
