Disruptive Welsh tech firm wants to transform the UK’s rentals market

Anything for Hire wants to transform the British rentals industry by following in the footsteps of successful tech companies such as Uber and Airbnb.
The Cardiff-based company has created a platform where consumers can hire any product or service. It works in a similar way to the likes of Uber, but covers all sectors.
“The process for hiring a service, whether a limousine for a night out or a bouncy castle for a children’s party has proven to be a tedious task, time and time again,” said Tej Randeva, founder of the company.
Tej decided to create the company when he noticed that there wasn’t an easy way to compare quotes and services from different hire companies. He said this causes a headache for consumers.
Randeva wanted to change this by giving people a quick, easy place to find and select a hire service. He explained that the platform is about bringing the rentals industry together.
With the product, consumers can get a list of real-time prices and compare them based on value-for-money. Tej confirmed that he’ll be expanding his team to accelerate the growth of the firm.
Tej commented: “The demand and prospects for anyone wanting to pursue a career in tech is sky high so we will constantly be looking for new talent we can bring onto the development team at Anything for Hire,” he said.
“We are planning to recruit a team of ambitious & motivated people to achieve some great results at our Cardiff HQ”.
He believes that the platform will give local businesses a way to acquire new customers as well. Randeva said there’ll be “exciting opportunities for localised businesses to reach an entirely new set of customers”.
The entreprenuer added: “This will allow small businesses to become more efficient and responsive so consumers will no longer need to call to know the availability of their services.”
