Fintech firm ActiveQuote unveils new branding as it looks to expand
by Nicholas Fearn , December 11
ActiveQuote, a health, life and income protection site based in Cardiff, has developed a new branding strategy as it looks to implement a £2 million expansion plan.
The company said it’s adopted a new logo and website to “reflect the simplicity and ease of the comparison service and its ambition to disrupt this crowded market”.
It’s also to create 70 new jobs at its offices in Cardiff Bay, taking the workforce to almost 200 people. This will allow it to develop enhanced online quote comparison service utilising artificial intelligence.
Since the appointment of Rob Saunders as its managing director in July, ActiveQuote has experienced months of growth. He’s excited to see the firm transform and accelerate.
“It has been an exciting six months at the helm of ActiveQuote, but with the launch of our new website and new look logo as well as the planned changes we are making to our quote journey, the future is looking even more exciting,” he said.
Rob explained that the rebrand is about communicating the company’s vision of transforming
and owning the way customers buy health and protection insurance online.
“We wanted to create a memorable online experience, with equal focus on design, usability, content and functionality,” he said.
“We are hoping the new brand will stand out in a noisy market as both modern and fresh and very much in tune with the core values of the business, which is about offering a comparison service that’s unbiased, ethical and personal.
He commended the work that’s being done by his team and branding partner. “We are absolutely delighted with the results and proud of all the hard work and collaboration which has gone into delivering the project,” added Saunders.
“A special mention must also go to our design agency We Are Core, who helped inspire our creative journey.
