Nucleus Expo partners with Wales’s premiere tech event
Two of the biggest science and technology organisers in the UK have joined forces in a bid to support innovative Welsh start-ups at this year’s Digital conference in Cardiff.
Nucleus Expo has announced it is to host the event’s start-up zone, working closely with the Digital team to support and encourage networking between SMEs and delegates.
On September 18th and 19th, Digital will see the Tramshed Tech co-working space and surrounding area turned into a technology hub for more than 2,000 digital innovators, entrepreneurs and investors.
Throughout the conference, there’ll be a host of inspirational speeches and opportunities for delegates to make connections, do business and talk about the latest tech trends taking over the world.
Last year’s Digital 2016 event was supported by the Welsh Government, and it’s remained as its main sponsor since 2013. As part of a 2017 branding evolution, the event has been renamed as Digital.
The start-up zone – which will be led by Nucleus – will offer delegates a range interactive workshops and meeting spaces, dedicated investor zones and an exhibition arena.
It’ll also offer its central stage for demonstrators, presenters, lively panel sessions and keynote talks from world-leading companies and inspirational entrepreneurs.
Layla-Jane Stacey, CEO and founder of Nucleus, said: “We couldn’t be happier partnering with the new-look Digital. The chance to turn our own Nucleus Wales event into a collaborative project with the country’s biggest science and tech expo was one we jumped at.
“We will ensure we bring the biggest names under one roof to showcase what the future holds in one of the UK’s most buoyant markets.”
