Oi Conference set to return for another year
CoupMedia, a digital agency based in Newport, has announced that the highly popular Oi Conference is set to return to Cardiff next year.
Oi Conf, which is one of Europe’s fastest-growing social media and mobile events, will take place at Cardiff’s City Hall on March 30th.
The event will run all day and welcome technology leaders from companies such as Barclays, Sky, Travelex, Expedia and We Are Social, with more announcements to come.
During the day, there’ll be a mix of keynotes and masterclasses from those working on the cutting edge of social media, mobile and digital innovations, with two seminar stages.
1000 free tickets to the event’s exhibitor expo are being given away for free, while general tickets start at £99. You’ll get access to all the day’s top talks and workshops.
There will be a number of free seminars too, all of which will be targeted at small businesses. Topics will include PPC, SEO, social advertising, finance, task and IP advice.
Paul Shepherd, the event organiser, said: “We’ve been well supported in Wales and we wanted to do something to help close the digital skills gap here.
“We know we can bring in Global Heads of the World’s biggest companies, but we also know that their talks are more aspirational than practical. People love the that glimpse into the future they get from the likes of IBM and Google.
“But we’re hoping to bring the inspirational together with the educational, and that’s the idea behind our free exhibition and seminars”.
