Newport-based Talkative, which provides solutions for client communications, has been named the “most innovative technology” at the Britannic Technologies Convergence Summit in Manchester.
Britannic is a provider of contact centre solutions and works with companies like Mitel. Its technology summit took place last week and saw nine companies present a 2-minute pitch.
Once the pitches finished, each attendee voted which they thought was the most innovative. When the votes were cast, Talkative was named as the winner and took the innovation award.
The firm, which has just launched, provides video and co-browsing solutions to help transform the way companies interact with their customers and clients. It pitched its contact centre solution, Talkative Engage, at the conference.
Felix Winstone, founder of Talkative, said: “We are pleased that the Talkative solution won an award. The whole team is working hard so it’s nice to receive some external recognition.
“However, as a company, we try to measure our success on the quality of our products, and on how well we can help our customers.
“Creating and delivering solutions that solve real problems is worth more than any prize for us. Nonetheless, awards are most appreciated so hopefully we will continue to receive them.”
