Welsh comms firm announces expansion plans

TheVoiceFactory, a communications company based in Natgarw, has announced expansion plans after receiving a £500,000 loan from Finance Wales.

Thanks to this loan, the company will create six jobs based in Wales and see it move to bigger premises at the end of March. It currently employs 24 members of staff.

TVF provides a range of integrated communications products and solutions to clients working in the hospitality, leisure, automotive and legal sectors.

As well as this, it’s the only British communications company that offers white label solutions to these markets, and it is one of Wales’s largest telco firms.

The company currently has operations in 21 European countries, including France, Germany and Italy. It’s also just launched in the US, and has bases in Florida and California.

Paul Harrison, managing director of TheVoiceFactory, said his company has seen significant growth after receiving funding and support from Finance Wales.

“We have grown significantly over the last three years and with the investment from Finance Wales we are able to go for international growth in the US and Asia. Our international growth plan will lead to more jobs in both the US and here in Wales,” he said.

Leanna Davies, senior portfolio executive at Finance Wales, commented on the success of TheVoiceFactory: “We’re pleased to be backing a dynamic business in a growing sector.

“TVF has a capable and insightful management team led by Paul Harrison, and has the vision and technology to achieve their ambitious growth plans.”

Knight Corporate Finance introduced Finance Wales to TVF, and it also helped structure the deal. Paul Billingham, a company director, said: “TVF is a fast growing company but was constrained by a lack of funding.

“We introduced the business to Finance Waleswho understood their requirements quickly and structured a funding package that will enable the business to grow and develop.”
