Welsh digital agency develops RAC competition app
Digital agency Coup Media has developed the entry app for the RAC’s annual picture sharing competition.
Last year’s #RACRoadtrip saw over 1,500 images posted on social media, which were included in an advertising campaign launched by the firm.
The app built by Coup allows interested parties to enter the competition. It’ll connect to their Facebook account and create a unique tracking ID for when the winners are chosen.
Through the app, the user can upload the image they’ve taken and share it on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #RACRoadTrip.
Paul Shepherd, founder and CEO of Coup Media, said: “It’s great to work with the RAC team again and hopefully testament to the success of last Summer’s campaign, which touched on every channel from online to broadcast.
“Summer and road trips go hand in hand, and by placing RAC at the centre of that theme, we hope to reinforce that they’re there for the good times as well as in times of need.”
