Cardiff-based Echosec partners with global data specialist
Social media monitoring platform Echosec, which has operations in Wales and Canada, has teamed up with global data intelligence specialist GBG.
The partnership will see Echosec embed its cutting-edge social media search solution into GBG Connexus, a leading DaaS (data as a service) platform.
As a result, GBG customers will get access to a situational awareness platform. It integrates offline identity and social mapping to provide a 360-degree view of an individual or event.
In the case of Connexus, the holistic view created by combining datasets will provide firms with an insight into fully comprehensive, scalable intelligence and rich real-time data.

The integration is already starting to make waves, as GBG has just been shortlisted at the Retail Risk Fraud Awards 2016 for “Most Innovative Online Product” and “Best Newcomer” with the introduction of Echosec’s capabilities into Connexus.
