Tech start-up selected for Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme

Cardiff-based tech start-up Digital Profile has been selected for the £20 million Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme, which launched back in June.

Digital Profile, which is still going through the soft-launch stage, is a new matchmaking platform for digital professionals and businesses and aims to transform the recruitment industry.

It went through a rigorous selection process to get onto the business growth programme and, as a result, will benefit from support such as 1-2-1 coaching, professional advisory services and government support.

The programme is only open to high-growth Welsh businesses that have the potential to grow year-on-year turnover by at least 20 per cent, generate 10 new jobs in three years and have the ability to succeed in international markets.

Dan Lewis, the founder of Digital Profile, said: “We are so pleased to be accepted on this programme as it gives us access to a number of services to help us grow.

“From advice to funding, the program will really benefit Digital Profile in its mission to transform the way digital professionals find their next role.”

Business Wales said: “The Accelerated Growth Programme (AGP) offers individual support provided by coaches who have a track record of delivering high-growth, based on the philosophy that the best people to advise entrepreneurs are entrepreneurs.

“The programme is targeted at high-growth businesses like Digital Profile which want to enter their next growth phase and have the potential and determination to get there. We look forward to helping Digital Profile progress to the next step in their exciting venture.”
