Welsh entrepreneur launches on-demand delivery service
by Nicholas Fearn , October 8
Bring-it, an on-demand service capable of making deliveries within city centres in under 30 minutes, is now available to download for free on IOS.
The app, created by Welsh entrepreneur Scott Evans, has been in the works for the last seven months and launched on the Apple App Store over a week ago.
It’s so far been downloaded 142 times, and deliveries can currently be made in Cardiff and Central London, with Manchester, Leeds and Swansea to follow.
To get an item delivered through the app, you select a store or a restaurant, make a request and track delivery to your address in 60 minutes. Each delivery costs £2.95
Scott Evans, CEO of Bring-it, said: “The on-demand market is currently red hot with new start ups like Uber and Lyft. The service we are providing is not currently available in the UK.
“Currently, we offer food and goods deliver, but we have future plans to add an on-demand taxi service and also build an api for drone delivery.”
